LAKE TITICACA: OF INCAS AND ISLANDS

“Is there a mirror here – wow!” Felix couldn’t stop admiring the scenic beauty of Lake Titicaca. The dark blue sky reflected perfectly on the still waters. “The silence, the yellow and green grass, and the surrounding mountains are making this place unforgettable,” sighed Verum.

The Mysticals were visiting the world’s highest navigable lake, flowing at 12,500 feet above sea level. It is located in the Andes Mountains.

“Do you know it is a natural border between Bolivia and Peru? It is also believed to be the birthplace of the ancient people who lived in South America, the Incas,” informed Orak, as he sat next to Verum and Scorch.

Felix flew a few feet above and stayed there, admiring the series of valleys, hills, and vast plains around the lake.

“There are so many islands here, Orak,” Felix noticed.

“Yes. There are over 40 islands around it. Also, if you go a bit higher, you can see around 25 rivers merging into the lake,” Orak piqued Felix’s interest.

“This is one of the world’s most beautiful places,” said Scorch.
